Wednesday, April 1: Project

Kickoff.

Plan to visit City Hall to view the Project Area Plan Boards that are displayed in the lobby.  Use sticky notes to record your thoughts. The sticky notes will help inform the Downtown Streetscape Master Plan preliminary concepts.

Wednesday, May 13: DDA Board

Meeting – Open House

Progress Update.

City planners, Beckett & Raeder, will present the Downtown Streetscape Master Plan Open House materials, describe how the Open House will solicit input on preliminary streetscape concept plans, share preliminary concept plans, and review the Open House and online survey questionnaire. As always, the public is welcome. 

Thursday, May 27: Downtown Streetscape Master Plan Community Open House at City Hall, 4pm to 7pm.

The open house venue will give people the opportunity to drop in at their convenience, ask questions and provide input on preliminary streetscape concepts, and talk directly with the planners and DDA Board members.

Monday, June 1: Downtown

Streetscape Master Plan

Community Survey Begins.

An online survey is being developed that will allow people to express opinions on specific questions.  Watch this website for more information.  

Wednesday, June 10: DDA Board

Meeting.

Beckett & Raeder will present to the Board a review of Public Input received at the Open House and a Project Status Update for the Downtown Streetscape Master Plan.  The public is welcome.

Monday, July 6: Downtown

Streetscape Master plan

Community Survey Ends, 6pm.

This is the last day to provide input on the online survey.

Wednesday, July 8: DDA Special

Board Meeting.

Beckett & Raeder will present a review of the Open House Survey, online survey, and a Project Status Update to the Board. Public comment will be taken. 

Tuesday, July 14, at City Hall,

8am to 9am;

Friday, July 17, at City Hall,

12pm to 1pm;

Monday, July 20, at City Hall,

5pm to 6pm: Public Input

Sessions.

Members of the public are invited to stop by City Hall to chat and give their opinions about Wants and Needs, as well as Don’t Wants and Don’t Needs. These informal meetings will be great opportunities to tell us what you really think and learn more about possibilities you may not have considered.

Thursday, July 30: Community Open Meeting, 5pm to 7pm.

This Preferred Plan Showcase will provide a review and preview of the project. After the presentation, there will be time for another round of public comment.

July 30 through August 10: Second Public Survey.

Hop online to take a quick and easy survey. Yes, no, or maybe answers will suffice for these short and simple questions. The survey will be available online until August 10.

Wednesday, August 12: DDA

Board Meeting.

Beckett & Raeder will present a review and summary of input received during the Preferred Plan Showcase presentation and second online survey. This will be a dialogue with the DDA Board. Public comments will also be welcome.

Wednesday, September 9: DDA Board Meeting.

The DDA Board will hear a final overview of the concept plan from Beckett & Raeder. The public is welcome.

Tuesday, October 13: DDA Board Meeting.

The DDA Board will have on its agenda consideration of adopting the Final Streetscape Project Plan and forwarding it to the Planning Commission for review and City Council for approval.
